Step Into A Real-Life Jurassic World at Cloud Forest Singapore

Inside the misty conservatory of Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay, visitors are now transported millions of years back in time with the arrival of Jurassic World: The Experience. Opening from 29 May 2025, this immersive attraction transforms the already breathtaking Cloud Forest into a prehistoric adventure filled with towering dinosaurs, roaring sound effects, dense tropical greenery, and cinematic suspense.

The moment visitors step into the Cloud Forest, they are greeted by the iconic indoor waterfall cascading down the lush mountain covered with thousands of plants. Standing at around 35 metres tall, the waterfall instantly creates a cool and humid atmosphere that feels worlds away from Singapore’s tropical heat. Combined with drifting mist, dimmed lighting, jungle-like pathways, and realistic dinosaur calls echoing through the conservatory, the experience feels almost like entering a real Jurassic Park movie set.

One of the biggest highlights is the appearance of gigantic life-sized animatronic dinosaurs placed throughout the Cloud Forest. From peaceful long-necked herbivores like the Brachiosaurus to terrifying carnivores such as the Tyrannosaurus rex and Velociraptors, every creature is designed with astonishing realism. Their moving heads, blinking eyes, breathing motions, skin textures, and thunderous roars make them appear frighteningly alive. At certain moments, visitors may even feel as though the dinosaurs are approaching them from the jungle, creating a mix of excitement, tension, helplessness, and adrenaline.

The setup blends perfectly with Cloud Forest’s ancient plant collections. Interestingly, many of the ferns, cycads, and conifers found inside the conservatory are descendants of plants that existed during the dinosaur age millions of years ago. This combination of prehistoric plants and realistic dinosaurs makes the attraction feel both educational and cinematic at the same time.

Walking along the elevated skywalks also gives visitors spectacular panoramic views of the dinosaurs hidden among the greenery below. The immersive environment, together with lighting effects and cinematic audio, makes every corner feel like a scene straight out of a Hollywood blockbuster.

Although the exact production cost has not been officially revealed, such large-scale international immersive exhibitions featuring licensed Jurassic World branding, advanced animatronics, engineering works, themed landscaping, lighting systems, and multimedia effects could easily cost several million dollars, possibly ranging into the tens of millions for a world-class setup of this scale.

Jurassic World: The Experience at Cloud Forest is more than just a flower dome exhibition — it is a thrilling prehistoric adventure where nature, technology, and movie magic come together in one unforgettable encounter.
