There’s something exciting about stepping into a brand-new hawker centre. It looked more spacious, with larger seating areas, better ventilation, higher ceilings, and a brighter environment compared to older hawker centres. Located beside the new Punggol Coast MRT station, Punggol Coast Hawker Centre has quickly become one of the hottest dining spots in the northeast, gathering everything from traditional hawker favourites to modern comfort food under one roof. This is especially important in new HDB estates, where residents are often concerned about the affordability of daily necessities
Since the hawker centre is under Kopitiam’s management, don’t forget to pay via FairpriceGroup App! To enjoy a 10% discount on your meal.

1. Hakka Leipopo 客家擂婆婆 (#02-K65)
Signature:
Lei Cha (Thunder Tea Rice)
Operating Hours:
10am – 8pm
Closed on Monday
Thunder tea rice can be quite hit-or-miss, but this bowl genuinely surprised me. The rich green soup arrives thick, creamy, and deeply fragrant without tasting overly grassy. Every spoonful carries a comforting nutty aroma that makes you keep going back for more. Remember to opt for vegetarian version if you are vegetarian.
The rice, vegetables, peanuts, and tofu come together beautifully, creating a wholesome bowl that somehow still feels indulgent. If you usually avoid lei cha, this may honestly change your mind completely.

2. Wonderful Grab & Go 万得福五香虾饼沙爹米粉 (#02-K84)
Signature:
Ngoh Hiang / Satay Bee Hoon
Operating Hours:
10.15am – 10pm Daily
Few things are more dangerous than freshly fried ngoh hiang sitting right in front of you. The crispy bean sprout fritters here are seriously addictive — crunchy, fragrant, and best eaten piping hot straight from the fryer.
Beyond the usual classics like lap cheong, tofu, and salted egg, the selection here is surprisingly extensive. The ngoh hiang rolls are tightly wrapped and generously filled, with little chestnut bits adding extra crunch and texture. What impressed me most was freshness, how every fried item remained light and crispy without tasting oily. Pair everything with their spicy chili sauce and it becomes impossible to stop snacking.

3. One Soy 一豆 (#02-K88)
Signature:
Soya Milk / Pandan Beancurd
Operating Hours:
8am – 9pm Daily
Fans of silky smooth beancurd are going to love this one. Originally from Maxwell Food Centre, this popular stall has brought its comforting soy creations to Punggol — and the queues already say a lot.
The pandan beancurd deserves special mention. Soft, delicate, and lightly fragrant, it melts effortlessly in your mouth without being overly sweet. Unlike some versions where pandan completely overpowers everything else, this one stays balanced and refreshing. Even their simple soy milk tastes rich and satisfying. Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or honestly anytime in between.

4. Xiang Chi Mian Traditional Bak Chor Mee 想吃面传统肉脞面 (#02-K55)
Signature:
Bak Chor Mee
Operating Hours:
Open 24 Hours
Finding decent food at odd hours is already a blessing — finding good bak chor mee 24 hours a day is even better.
The noodles here are springy and evenly coated in a rich savoury dark sauce that strikes a nice balance without becoming too salty. Ingredients are generous too, with minced pork, sliced pork, and crispy pork lard adding flavour and texture throughout the bowl. Portions are surprisingly substantial for the price, and the comforting soup on the side completes the entire experience beautifully.

5. Claypot King 砂煲王 (#02-K60)
Signature:
Assorted Claypot Dishes
Operating Hours:
11am – 9pm Daily
Nothing beats hearing that satisfying sizzling sound when claypot rice arrives at your table.
The rice here comes moist and fragrant, coated perfectly with dark soy sauce while still maintaining those precious crispy bits underneath. Tender chicken pieces, lup cheong, salted fish, shiitake mushrooms, and vegetables all come together inside the bubbling claypot for maximum flavour.
The belacan chilli deserves attention too — spicy, aromatic, and dangerously addictive alongside the rice. Add the comforting cabbage soup served on the side, and this becomes one seriously satisfying meal.

6. Kebabs Corner (#02-K62)
Signature:
Kebab / Chicken Pide
Operating Hours:
11am – 9pm Daily
Turkish food inside a hawker centre? Surprisingly yes — and it’s really good.
The kebab meats are beautifully seasoned with a smoky char while remaining juicy and tender. The mutton stays flavourful without carrying any strong gamey taste, while the chicken remains moist and well-marinated. Portions are huge too, especially the kebab rice sets.
One highlight here is the freshly made dough. You can actually watch them knead it on the spot before turning it into warm pides or quesadillas. The Chicken Pide arrives generously loaded, while the lamb quesadilla feels hearty enough to share. Considering the quality and portion size, the prices are honestly very reasonable.

7. Hock Hai (Hong Lim) Curry Chicken Noodle 福海芳林咖哩鸡面 (#02-K64)
Signature:
Curry Chicken
Operating Hours:
9am – 8.30pm Daily
Curry Chicken with rice or Curry Chicken Noodle ? Which one you preferred? I chose both. Yes! This bowl delivers exactly what you want from old-school Chinese curry noodles — thick, rich gravy packed with coconut fragrance and a gentle spicy kick.
The chicken pieces remain tender and juicy, soaking up all that delicious curry flavour beautifully. Generous portions of noodles and curry make this an incredibly satisfying meal, especially on rainy days.

8. Huay Kwang Thai Wanton Mee 泰式云吞面 (#02-K51)
Signature:
Thai Style Wanton Mee
Operating Hours:
10.30am – 8.30pm
Closed on Monday
This stall brings a fun Thai twist to traditional wanton mee — and the result is seriously addictive.
The ultra-thin noodles are wonderfully springy, coated in a fragrant sauce that tastes slightly savoury, slightly garlicky, and incredibly shiok. Every bowl comes loaded with fried wantons, soup wantons, Thai sausage, char siew, fried garlic, chilli flakes, and crispy pork lard.
The char siew carries a smoky aroma with rich fatty bits, while the wantons are generously stuffed with meat instead of mostly skin. Altogether, it’s a massive flavour bomb that leaves you craving another bowl almost immediately.

9. Ubi Le Sheng Yong Tau Fu 乐昇酿豆腐 (#02-K71)
Signature:
Yong Tau Foo
Operating Hours:
10am – 8pm
Closed on Monday
One thing I immediately appreciated here was the cleanliness and freshness of the ingredients. Everything is kept chilled and properly covered — something surprisingly uncommon nowadays.
The variety available is impressive too, including handmade dumplings and lady finger yong tau foo you rarely see elsewhere. The fillings are made using both fish paste and minced pork, giving every piece a juicy, flavourful bite. Fried items are also thoughtfully separated from soup ingredients, keeping textures crisp instead of soggy.

10. Jade’s Chicken – Authentic Korean Fried Chicken (#02-K78)
Signature:
Korean Fried Chicken
Operating Hours:
11am – 8pm Daily
Korean fried chicken cravings can hit anytime — and this stall definitely delivers.
The chicken stays incredibly juicy inside while maintaining a light crispy coating outside. Even the chicken breast remains surprisingly tender instead of dry. The soy sauce glaze is rich, savoury, and slightly sweet, while the spicy version packs a satisfying kick without becoming overwhelming.
Everything is freshly prepared upon order, so arriving earlier gives you more side dish choices before they sell out. Pair it with their crispy fries and you’ve got comfort food at its finest.

11. 75 Ah Balling Peanut Soup 花生汤圆 (#02-K83)
Signature:
Glutinous Balls
Operating Hours:
10.30am – 8.45pm Daily
Traditional Chinese desserts still hold a special kind of comfort — especially after a heavy meal.
The glutinous rice balls here are soft, chewy, and pleasantly fragrant without becoming overly sweet. Served inside warm ginger soup or peanut soup, every spoonful feels soothing and nostalgic. Despite having multiple outlets across Singapore, the quality here remains consistently reliable and wallet-friendly.

12. Munchi Pancakes (#02-K86)
Signature:
Assorted Pancakes
Operating Hours:
8am – 8.30pm Daily
These pancakes make dangerously good snack breaks.
The pancake skin itself carries a chewy mochi-like texture that feels soft and satisfying with every bite. Fillings are generously packed too, whether you choose red bean, coconut, caramel, or peanut.
While some may prefer traditional crushed peanut fillings, the creamy peanut butter version here still works surprisingly well. The red bean option remains comforting and classic, but many regulars swear by the softer “Munchi” versions instead.
