Every year, when the Michelin Guide releases its Singapore selection, the local food scene suddenly feels like a grand awards ceremony.

Chefs wait nervously. Hawker stall owners keep their fingers crossed. Food lovers start planning where to eat next. And somewhere across the island, a queue quietly begins forming before most people have even finished reading the announcement.
For 2026, the Michelin Guide Singapore is celebrating its tenth edition, marking a full decade of shining the spotlight on everything from elegant restaurants to humble hawker stalls.

The first big announcement arrived on 28 July 2026 with the unveiling of the latest Bib Gourmand selection. A total of 97 eateries made the list, up from 89 the previous year.
Bib Gourmand may not carry the same glamorous image as a Michelin Star, but for many diners, it is one of the most useful awards in the guide. It celebrates eateries that offer good food at reasonable prices—exactly the kind of places Singaporeans love.
This year, ten new establishments joined the list.
At Boon Keng Road Fish Head Bee Hoon, diners can settle down with a comforting bowl of creamy fish soup and noodles. Over at Newton Food Centre, Hup Kee Fried Oyster Omelette serves up a sizzling combination of crispy edges, soft eggs and plump oysters.
Laksa lovers may be tempted by King of Laksa in Aljunied, while those craving South Indian flavours can head to Rajarani Thosai at Tampines Round Market & Food Centre, where thosai and appam come with a wide variety of fillings.

The newcomers also include Jia Xiang, Seng Kee Black Chicken Herbal Soup, Tian Nan Xing Minced Pork Noodle, Xiangyee, Xiu Ji Ikan Bilis Yong Tau Fu and Yi Pin Wei Braised Duck Kway Chap.

But the 2026 list is not only about fresh faces.
Seventeen establishments have remained on the Bib Gourmand list throughout all ten editions of the Singapore guide. Familiar names such as Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice, A Noodle Story, Kok Sen, Song Fa Bak Kut Teh and J2 Famous Crispy Curry Puff continue to prove that consistency matters just as much as hype.

Of course, the biggest question is still unanswered: which restaurants will receive Michelin Stars?
That mystery will be revealed on 4 August 2026, when the full Michelin Guide Singapore selection is announced.
Until then, the Bib Gourmand list has already given food lovers 97 good reasons to grab their friends, loosen their belts and begin another delicious makan adventure across Singapore.
