Makers’ Market at PLQ Plaza: Handmade Finds in Paya Lebar

If you’re passing through Paya Lebar this weekend, you may want to slow down before heading straight into the mall. Just outside PLQ Mall, Makers’ Market at PLQ Plaza is bringing together a colourful collection of independent makers, small businesses and creative entrepreneurs — many of whom design, create and produce their own products.

Running from 25 to 27 September 2026, the three-day outdoor market is happening from 11am to 9pm daily, making it an easy stop whether you’re visiting during lunchtime, after work or over the weekend.

What makes Makers’ Market interesting is that you’re not simply browsing shelves filled with the usual mass-produced products. Many of the items here come from individuals and small local brands who have put their own ideas, creativity and handiwork into what they sell.

Depending on the participating vendors, visitors can expect to come across all sorts of handmade crafts, artisanal lifestyle products, accessories, gifts and creative creations. Makers’ Market itself describes the event as a celebration of handmade crafts and artisanal goods, bringing makers together in a space where they can showcase their one-of-a-kind creations.

And that’s really part of the fun.

You might walk past something you’ve never seen in a normal retail shop, stop for a closer look, and sometimes even get to chat with the person who actually made it.
